To Our Clients And Friends:
Announcement Regarding COVID-19 Coronavirus concerns and the Operations of the Courts and Law Offices:
At Friedman Sanchez, LLP, our highest priorities are the interests, health and safety of our clients, employees, and the communities we serve. While the courthouses are operating on a limited basis, the State of New York Unified Court System has just announced different protocols for court proceedings during this national/global emergency. Effective March 16, 2020, the Courts have postponed all Supreme Court civil case appearances and the Courts are currently rescheduling the dates. Most, if not all of our clients are in this category. We will endeavor to inform our clients of any and all rescheduled dates. The Courts will continue to accept our submissions electronically.
Future depositions will also be rescheduled as many law offices and court reporting agencies have shut down. However, the adjournments of depositions will be handled on a case by case basis and clients will be notified of the future date. Friedman Sanchez, LLP, will continue to remain OPEN and operate by telephone, mail, fax and email. We will continue to accept new cases. However, please note most employees are working from home and the office itself will remain open only to handle essential functions until further notice. Please contact our office by telephone, mail, fax and, or email for any questions and new inquiries during the coronavirus public health emergency.
These initiatives are part of our continuing and evolving efforts to assure the operations of Friedman Sanchez, LLP in the safest possible manner for our clients and our employees. Our clients should remain assured that their legal matters are our highest priority and completely secure in this time of medical emergency.
