Man claims wife’s death was caused by medical malpractice

Suffering the unexpected death of a loved one is one of the most tragic experiences as person can endure in life. Many New York residents have faced such sorrows. When the death is caused by medical malpractice, the grief and stress of the situation are naturally intensified.

A man in another state is currently undergoing such circumstances. He has filed a lawsuit in the aftermath of his wife’s death. It is alleged that doctor negligence is to blame for the brain hemorrhage that led to the fatality.

Last year, the woman was taken to an emergency room for urgent medical care. At the time, she complained that she felt light-headed, dizzy and was suffering body aches and fever. Sometime later, doctors prescribed Heparin to be injected by syringe at 5,000 units every eight hours. Her situation rapidly declined from there.

The drug was reportedly administered, and a day later, the woman was found completely unresponsive. Radiology scans showed evidence that she had suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage. It was later determined that an error connected with lab reports was a significant causal factor leading to the woman’s brain hermorrhage and, subsequently, her death. Although it’s difficult to think beyond one’s grief when a loved one has died, seeking justice on his or her behalf is an option that remains available to anyone facing such a terrible loss due to medical malpractice in New York. To discuss the process further, a concerned party may contact a personal injury attorney to request a consultation.
